Fall colours:
We have decided for this mural to have a "falling into fall" theme, where we see a fall coloured sunset cast over a forest filled with native Canadian animals foraging berries and nuts for the cold season approaching.

Diversity:
Taking an abstract perspective of diversity, the members of the Boys & Girls club was set on creating a pizza (because who doesn't like pizza?!?!) and adding cultural "ingredients" onto the pizza.

Spring:
The residents at the youth shelter similarly wanted to tell a story through their mural in a comic style. With three panel strips, they take their audience on a stroll through a park, going through the stages of the emerging spring season; walking through the forest with small animals coming out of hibernation, walking passed a pond with baby birds hatching up on a tree, and arriving to a spring picnic barbecue with a family.

Toronto:
This mural highlights landmarks around the city, both urban and nature based, and the borders are made up of major roads in Toronto which embodies the uniqueness of this great city. The images were selected by the residents then traced onto the mural, this was by far one of the more difficult murals to create but with the dedication and enthusiasm of our team, we can get it done!
