Online Kindergarten Learning

Emergency responsive teaching.

In response to the COVID-19 Pandemic during my LTO as a kindergarten teacher, I created an online learning simulation for my classroom. The website included; daily lessons in the four strands in the Full-Day Kindergarten curriculum, parental resources, daily messages, a photo of the week and collaborative pages with the class's music and physical-education & health teacher. In addition to the website, I was in frequent communication with the families and with the school staff & administration.

This was a project done during my senior internship at VIBE ARTS For Children and Youth. It was a blog that followed and documented my experiences in different programs and projects. Its purpose was to give insight to newly recruited staff of what it is like to work with VIBE ARTS in first person. It also included the various teaching approaches I have used for different programs and age groups.

I created this online resource collection to share various types of math education resources for other educators, students, and family members to use. It includes books, online games, videos, Pinterest posts, and teacher blogs.

Math Resource Collection

As a part of a creative arts project, me and four other Ryerson students created this blog for other early childhood educators to share a variety of art lessons, resources and information on artists.

Support LGBTQ+ Youth

This website was designed to advocate for LGBTQ youth who are experiencing homelessness. It addresses the discrimination and challenges that the youth go through and explores the government's impact and how others can help to advocate and create change.
